The client wanted to begin selling their product on Amazon, but their Amazon Seller Central account was deactivated. An Amazon US Seller Account was previously created, but the client was also registered in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Although the client was registered in these selling channels, Amazon was unable to verify the seller’s identity, ultimately impacting the US account and resulted in the deactivation of their Seller Central account.

The Solution
Seller Central Account Evaluation
The seller’s Amazon account was evaluated to determine the reason for the deactivation. The account manager had multiple phone calls with Amazon Support to determine the cause of the violation and develop an action plan for resolving the account health concerns.
Banking Information Submission
The account manager worked with the client to resubmit their banking information within the EU/UK Amazon accounts. After multiple attempts, including a new banking account being created, the strategy was reevaluated to focus on appealing the account health violation.
Account Health Appeal
An appeal was submitted on behalf of the client to reinstate the Amazon Seller Central account. The appeal contained:
- Proof of Identity
- Business License
- Proof of Address
- Certified Bank Letter
The appeal was successful in removing the violation from all selling accounts, allowing the account to be reactivated.
Banking Information Verification
To prevent the account from being deactivated again, the client was advised to resubmit their bank information by including a sealed bank statement and certified bank letter. Once the bank information was verified, the seller was able to begin selling their products on Amazon.
